Dr. Peters is a double board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She completed her medical school education in Canada in 1993, her adult psychiatry residency at Yale University in 1996 and her child psychiatry fellowship at UCLA in 1998. Dr. Peters has practiced in various clinical and academic centers in Canada and the U.S., including outpatient, inpatient, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and emergency room settings.

Dr. Peters' diverse clinical experience includes practice in academic institutions, community mental health agencies, and private practice. In addition to her current private practice, Dr. Peters has been providing tele-psychiatry services to patients in Michigan since 2014.
